After years of service in the prosecutor's office, Ms. Jaques left prosecution work and ventured to the other side, that of criminal defense. Ms. Jaques' personal situation is unique. She is married to a police officer that serves as a Sergeant for the Investigative Division as well as a member of the SWAT team. While the pair used to work on the same side, they now find themselves on opposite sides of the law. When asked how she was able to make that change from being a fierce prosecutor to defense attorney, she insists that her job is the same: to ensure that others follow the law. The difference is, now she makes sure that the police officers, the prosecutors, and the judges follow the laws.
